when we first opened wizardry, we had imagined that things would go a little differently than they have. that said, we've decided to go ahead and close the community. while we'd rather not have to, we've realized that, for the time being, this may be the best course of action. there's no one particular reason that we can cite on behalf of our decision, but we hope that you can be understanding of our decision nevertheless. we will return, it's just a matter of when. the truth is, you'll likely see us again sometime around halloween, when things are a little less hectic for everyone (ourselves included). and when we return, you can bet your last knut that we'll have gone to every length to make this community worth more than just your while.

we will be the first to admit our shortcomings as mods. what happened with first adds was a rather unfortunate circumstance that we hadn't foreseen. what happened was everything got dumped onto one mod and adds wound up taking two to three times the time they should have because there was no support. while one mod was working on the taken list, one could have been working on reviewing examples, etc. it didn't work that way and it ultimately fell all on one person. that and we never really realized how important it was to not have adds on or near the weekends, but we see that now, since it didn't leave a lot of opportunity for people to reply to things or even write anything, as in your case. we had something very similar in mind! we think it would definitely set the community on the right foot. right now, however, our intent is to stay closed at least for a week or two, since there were some things that were beyond our control that sort of dictated why we closed to begin with. we'll definitely take everything you have to offer us into consideration, though. thank you for not essentially coming after us and making us out to be some horrible people. we really had no intent of things turning out like this, but shit happens. if you have any more ideas, we'd love to hear them! we're just mods, we need to know what you guys want in order to make the community a place that you'd enjoy.
